Madi's Birthday

I can't believe Madi turned 4 a couple of weeks ago. She had such a fun birthday and was spoiled as always. We started the day off by going bowling with my family. She had been asking for months to go bowling so we thought this would be a good day to go. Mike took the day off work, so he was able to go with us too. Madi had so much fun with her cousins and would go bowling everyday if she could.

Madi patiently waiting for her turn!

Ellie stealing some of our drink!! How can you get mad at that face???

Ellie really liked bowling too, she would get so excited when she knocked the pins over.

Ellie would roll the ball off the ramp then hang and watch it go down the lane!

Madi pretty proud of her bowling skills!!

When we got home from bowling I finished making Madi's cake. She had requested a My Little Pony cake months before, so this is what I came up with.

That night we went to Aunt Betsy's house to celebrate with Mike's family. We had a combined birthday party for Madi and her cousin Dallin. Madi always has so much fun with her cousins.

Madi always struggles blowing out her candles. We thought for sure she would be fine this year, but we were wrong. It always makes for a good laugh.

A dress up My Little Pony from Aunt Betsy and Uncle Fletch.

A tinkerbell doll from Aunt Kelly and Uncle Mark. Everyone knows how to make Madi happy, she LOVED all of her presents!! Thanks everyone!

Two days later we went to my parents and celebrated her birthday with my family. We started off with a pinata. It had been raining all day, but it stopped long enough to do the pinata outside. Madi was the lucky one who broke the unicorn pinata!

My parents gave her a ball and glove. We're hoping she follows in my footsteps!!!

Madi absolutely loves Cinderella, so was very excited about this!

Madi is really into Littlest Pet Shop, and had been wanting this purple dog forever. It's a good think Aunt Brynn got it for her.

Madi also got a bigger bike this year and absolutely loves it. Two weeks before her birthday she learned to ride her bike without trainig wheels. She had been asking us to teach her since last year, so we thought we would finally let her try. She picked it up in less than 5 minutes, and hasn't stopped since. Mike and I weren't really surprised she was able to do it, because she is one determined kid!! We wondered if she would be able to ride her bigger bike without training wheels, but hasn't had a problem! Now Ellie is able to ride Madi's old bike, and she loves it too!

As you can see Madi had a very good birthday. It is so hard to believe she is already 4. Madi is full of energy and is very strong-willed. She definitely knows what she wants. She makes us laugh everyday and we are so grateful to have her in our family. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADI we love you!!
