Easter Festivities

So as most of you know, I am horrible at updating my blog. I thought it was probably time to put up my Easter pictures since it is almost summer. Better late than never I guess!! We had a really fun Easter as always. We started the festivities Saturday morning at my parents' house. We had a delicious brunch and my mom made her cinnamon rolls (they are seriously the best ever!). We then had an Easter egg hunt inside because it was raining outside, the kids didn't seem to mind though.

Madi was very excited about finding an egg

All of the cute grandkids. My poor nephew is a little out numbered!!

After my parents, we went down to Mike's sisters house for more Easter fun. The kids had fun decorating sugar cookies, dying easter eggs, and having another easter egg hunt (inside again)!!

On Easter we got up and went to church. We came home and I tried to get some pictures of them in their Easter dresses, but that didn't go so well. Ellie was very tired and kept telling me she wanted to go night night. I'll have to get some more another day!

This was pretty much how the photo shoot went!!

Madi is at that awkward smile phase- so fun!!

The Easter Bunny came during Ellie's nap, so when she woke up we had them find their baskets and other goodies. We then went to my parents house for Easter dinner, but didn't stay too long because Ellie got the stomach flu. We thought at first it was maybe just because she ate too much candy, but it lasted for several days.

As you can see we had a wonderful Easter. I am grateful for this time of year and the chance we have to remember our Savior and His Resurrection and sacrifice for each of us. For that is truly the reason we celebrate this wonderful holiday.
