Just Like Her Daddy!!

Yesterday morning I took Ellie's jammies off and told her to go sit on the potty. (I am just starting to potty train her.) A couple minutes later I went in to check on her and this is what I found. Apparently she was bored and went and found a magazine. She must have gotten that from her daddy!!

Merry Christmas to All!!

I know I am a little slow, but I am finally getting to my Christmas post. We had a wonderful Christmas and I'm so sad to see it over. Madi was so fun this year, this was the first year that she really got into it and that made Christmas even that much better. Ellie wasn't very happy Christmas morning, because she woke up earlier than normal. This was our first year since being married that we actually spent Christmas in our own house. When we lived in Las Vegas we came up to Utah every year, so it was so nice to have Christmas morning with just the 4 of us. After we opened presents and got ready, we headed to my parents house for brunch and to hang out with family. After that we went to see Mike's grandparents, and then got together with his family. It is so nice to be so close to family. We had a wonderful Christmas and were way too spoiled like always.

Ellie with her new baby. She absolutely loves it and has to take it everywhere.

Madi saw this baby before Christmas and fell in love wih it. She was so glad that Santa remembered!!

My dad made these beautiful cradles for the girls. My dad worked so hard and did such a wonderful job, and the girls really love them.

It was pretty much impossible to get pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses. They were both on the verge of crying, so this is the best I could get.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we got together with my mom's side of the family for our annual party. We always have a yummy dinner and have a good time visiting with each other. After our party, we went back to my parent's house because my mom had a present for each of the grandkids to open. They had no idea, but my mom had made all of them matching pajamas. They were so excited!! My mom worked so hard to get them done, and they turned out so cute!

Ellie wanted to wear them on her head!

All of the grandkids in the new PJ's. It's never easy to get a picture of all of them, but I thought this one turned out so cute.

After Grandmas and Grandpas, we went home and opened one more present. The girls got a new Curious George Christmas book. We read it and went to bed so Santa could come!

Leatham Family Christmas Party!

The Sunday before Christmas Mike's family came over for dinner and a little party. It's always fun to get together with them, and I am so glad that we are so close. The kids opened a present, and as you can see they always have a good time together too.
I love this picture, they were both really excited about Ellie's present (a my little pony)!!

Ellie really enjoyed her brownie and hot fudge!!
