Not Quite the Polar Express

A couple of nights ago Mike and I took the girls up to Temple Square. We thought it would be fun to take Trax, since Madi loves trains. She was so excited and thought she was riding the Polar Express (one of her favorite movies). At one point on Trax she asked us when she was going to get her hot chocolate! Needless to say she was a little disappointed when we ended up at Temple Square instead of the North Pole! We still had a really good time even though it was freezing cold.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!

I figured it was probably time to update my blog since Halloween was my last post and Christmas is just a few days away!! I took the girls to see Santa last week and was so excited that Madi actually sat on his lap. She hasn't the last 2 years, and she wasn't sure she wanted to this year, but she did!! She told him she wanted the baby at Costco. He thought that was pretty funny that she would tell him where he could get it. He told her that he thought his elves knew how to make that one for her! Ellie as you can see did not want to sit on Santa's lap. I wasn't surprised, I knew that there was no way that she would, but she did tell him she wanted a baby for Christmas.
